To GOD be the Glory great things he has done....This is the anthem forever etched in the hearts and minds of every Bethsaidaite.This significant hymn of the church has been sung with great vigour over the years and is more true today than it has every been.
Bethsaida lifts up her collective voice to Almighty Gid with thanksgiving and gratitide for His divine grace,fortitude and favour that has kept us.As we trace the humble beginnings of this God-ordained ministry with 17 people under a tree to the global life-transforming ministry that it has grown into- we must come to a common conclusion:"This is God's work and it is marvelous in our eyes".
There will be one notable voice missing in this year's rendition of"To GOD be the Glory great things He has done".The voice of the one who taught us this hymn... the voice of one who lived this hymn..the voice of one who was God's channel by whom "great things"were broadcast through...the voice of one whose gentle touch brought encouragement and hope..the voice of one whose mere presence transformed atmospheres.. the voice of one who shape the collective heart of a generation after the heart of God...the voice of one who stood as a bastion of divine truth..the voice of one who loved without boundaries...the voice of one who brought the life-giving Gospel of Jesus Christ to countless hearts..the voice of one who stood tall through persecution and antagonism..the voice of one who ran his race to completion...with excellence.Yes,this year the hymn"to God be the Glory "will sorely miss the voice of our founder,our father,our leader,our visionary;our pastor-DR Emmanuel J.Moodley.We pay tribute to a man amoung men!Bethsaida Ministries International stands as a testimony to God's grace and the passion and commitment,faithfulness and self-sacrificial ministry of our earthly shepherd.
